Richard Ritholz is a retired equity partner at Elliott Management Corporation, one of the world’s largest global commodities firms, where he led a group that traded energy, metals, agricultural commodities, and soft commodities in the firm’s Hong Kong, London, and New York offices. Prior to joining Elliott Management, he founded JMR Energy Inc., an energy commodity trading advisor, and served as its president until 2005. Mr. Ritholz serves on the board of Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. In addition to his leadership on the Board of Trustees, he is a member of Washington University’s Business National Council and the North Jersey Regional Cabinet and past co-chair of the North Jersey Leading Together campaign. He is the recipient of the Founders Day Distinguished Alumni Award from Washington University (2015) and the Olin Business School Distinguished Alumni Award (2018). Mr. Ritholz earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Washington University.
