James O’Donnell is the chairman and CEO of Exegy, Inc., a global provider of industry-leading solutions from real-time market data, predictive trading signals, and historical market data to the financial services industry. He is also CEO of Bush O’Donnell & Co., the St. Louis-based financial services company he formed with William H.T. Bush. He began his career with Goldman Sachs & Co. In addition to his leadership on the Board of Trustees, Mr. O’Donnell is the chair of the Olin Business School National Council and serves on the Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and Entrepreneurship National Council. He has previously served on the Alumni Board of Governors, as president of the William Greenleaf Eliot Society, as chair of the Olin Business School Campaign for Leading Together: The Campaign for Washington University, as well as an adjunct professor of finance at Olin for many years. Mr. O’Donnell is the recipient of the Founders Day Distinguished Alumni Award (1989), the Olin Business School Distinguished Alumni Award (1997), and the Dean’s Medal from the Olin Business School (2005). He earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and Master of Business Administration from Washington University.
