Arnold Donald is former Vice Chair of Carnival Corporation and PLC, whose fleet of nearly 100 cruise ships sail over 13 million guests annually, visiting more than 700 ports around the world, making Carnival the world’s largest cruise company. Mr. Donald serves as a trustee of Carleton College and Tulane University and is on the board of several local organizations such as Fair St. Louis Foundation, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, and the Greater St. Louis Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. In addition to his leadership on the Washington University Board of Trustees, Mr. Donald is the chair of the Engineering National Council for the McKelvey School of Engineering and was the past co-chair of the Engineering Campaign Committee during Leading Together: the Campaign for Washington University. Mr. Donald is the recipient of the Engineering Young Alumni Award, Engineering Founders Day Distinguished Alumni Award, and the Engineering Alumni Achievement Award. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton College, a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
